Rainy Day Fun

Today was a rainy indoor day but it didn't seem to bother anyone much. They all got involved in the indoor activities.




One of the activities today was the game of Candy Land.

Building with pipes... and matching shapes,colors, and sizes kept everyone occupied for awhile.Cheeeeese!!!Singing "Put your finger on your nose than your hair......put your finger on your nose than your toes". (Her cast didn't slow her down today!)Singing "B-I-N-G-O"

Breakfast- Scrambled Eggs, Toast, Orange Juice, Milk

Lunch- Chicken n Rice, Green Beans, Applesauce, Cheese Slices, Milk

Snack- Iced Oatmeal Cookies, Milk

This afternoon we (5 year olds) worked on the D sound, identifying the pictures that start eith the D sound, and writing Dd. We did a trace and color picture and talked about going from the "top to bottom" and "left to right" when writing.

We also did some simple addition and read "All About Me".
