The beginning of the farm theme for this week.

Bubble painting.

Putting paper on the bubbles.

This was the part they thought was the most fun in this art project. (I put holes in the top half of the straws so they wouldn't be able to drink the mixture.)

Laying paper on top of the bubbles she just made.

Making red paint bubbles.

Making red bubble art on the paper.

The finished and dry artwork.
It was too muddy to go in the yard so they played on the porch this morning.

Breakfast- Cereal, Peaches, Milk
Lunch- Mackeral Patties, Macaroni n Cheese, Butter Beans, Applesauce, Milk
Snack- Still to come.
We had a fun busy morning. At storytime we read "Baby Farm Animals" and sang "Old McDonald Had A Farm" and "Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear"(A following instructions song). 4-5 Year olds colored and cut out barns,2-3 year olds colored pre-cut barns. Then we glued them onto paper and drew farm animals inside the doors(The doors to the barn open).
Then we played a couple Games of "The Farmer In The Dell".
We did some bubble painting art work this morning to practice the colors blue, red, orange, and green. The part of this project they most enjoyed was blowing in the paint mixture to make bubbles.
It was too muddy to play in the yard this morning but they did get to play on the porch for awhile.
