Singing "Halleluiah..." and using the red block for some kind of musical instrument.
Halleluiah was one of his new words today. Bird was another word he said today when he saw a bird
in the sky.

"Marble painting" shapes.

Marble painting on a paper.

Art work by two little boys who aren't quite two yet.

The finished shapes artwork of 2-5 year olds.

You never know what children will find to occupy themselves. What could be more fun than blowing feathers off your hand....

...and then catching them again.

"Here's P."
They were supposed to find and identify the letters I called out.

"There's M right there."

Counting flowers and putting them on the right number.

"Who has 8 flowers?"

Singing "I can be a sunbeam..."

"I can be a raindrop..."

Breakfast- Cereal, Peaches, Milk
Lunch- Salmon Patties, Macaroni n Cheese, Butter Beans, Applesauce, Milk
Snack- Cheese Nips, Apple Juice

Today the 3-5 year olds traced, marble-painted, and glued shapes to the matching shapes.
The two boys under two marble-painted a blank white paper.
After the marble painting we went outside. The 3 year olds and older played Hide and Seek and Freeze Tag.
We hid/taped Mm's ("marble starts with Mm") and Pp's("paint starts with Pp") at different places on the walls and when we came in from outside they looked for and identified the letters.
When they got tired of that game we did an identifying numbers and counting activity.
We had storytime after lunch. We read "Mikes Dirty, Yucky, Icky, Sticky Adventure"( about washing hands, taking baths, good germs and bad germs). We sang"Can You Be A Sunbeam".
