Some of todays work.

Picking flowers....

watching honeybees....

and playing Ring-Around-The-Rosy were all a part of our relaxed day today.

Breakfast- Cereal, Peaches, Milk

Lunch- Speghetti w/meatballs, Baby Limas, Applesauce, Cheese Slices, Milk

Snack- Cheese Crackers, Apple Juice

Today seemed to be a relaxed day for everyone. They were calm and quiet and everyone got along real good.

We worked on the letter Mm today. "Mm is for monkey" and "Mm says Mmmmm" were a few of the things we talked about. The 3-5 year olds did a Mm worksheet, a monkey maze and practiced writing their name. The 2-5 year olds all colored a picture of a monkey.

We started storytime with the song "Good Morning, Good Morning" then we read"Family Pictures"(from "Bless My Family") "Funny Faces- Monkeys and Apes" and the part of the book"What is a Mammal?" that talked about monkeys. We did the finger plays "Five Little Monkeys Hanging From a Tree" and Five Little Monkeys Jumping on The Bed" and sang "Jesus, Jesus I Love You" (with ASL).

Flashcards for today were 'Shapes n Colors' and 'Numbers and Counting 1-10'.
