A little girl and her zoo.

Today we learned about the sun and how it makes shadows.

Tracing shadows...

Breakfast- Pancakes, Orange Juice, Milk
Lunch- Salisbury Steaks, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy. Peas, Butter Bread, Milk
Snack- Chicked-in-a-Biscuit Snack Crackers, White Grape Juice
This morning we started our storytime singing "Good Morning" then we read "Busy at Day Care Head to Toe" and "What Are Shadows". We sang "Mr Sun", "You Are My Sunshine", and Ten Little Indians".
3-5 year olds did a dot-to-dot sun picture. Then they took some toys outside and pencil and paper outside to trace around the shadow the toys made on the page. 2 year olds drew a yellow sun and glued on some wiggly eyes.

Trying to look scary but not succeeding!
Watching a BIG bird in the sky.
Yelling at a Big bird in the sky. He was hilarious! He hollered and waved and shook his finger at that bird every time it flew over.Told it "Hi" told it "No" hollered "Oosh" (whatever that means).
