We had a surprise this morning when our Licencing Specialist made an unannounced visit. All the children did good at not getting too wild during that time (sometimes that is not the case).
At storytime this morning we read "Scuffy The Tugboat." We sang "Micheal Row Your Boat Ashore","Three Little Fishies", "Count Our Numbers", "Who is Wearing ______?"(fill in the blank with a color) and "This is the Day".
This morning we worked on following instructions, tracing, shapes, cutting, gluing and colors.
3-5 year olds traced the letter b for boat and traced, colored, cut out, and glued the boat together on construction paper.
2 year old traced, colored, and glued a boat together on construction paper. They did amazingly well at drawing a sun and coloring blue for the water on a piece of white construction paper before gluing the boat onto the paper.
