We had a great day today. They had a lot of fun making necklaces.
For our craft this morning we traced our hands and then decorated around the hands with shells, ocean themed foam shapes, and feathers. I had a hard time getting them convinced to stop when their paper got full.
We went outside at storytime and read "The Curious Little Dolphin" and "Counting Book". We sang "This is The Day" (they're getting really good at that song) and "Head, Shoulders, Knees, And Toes", slow at first than very fast.
The older children played several rounds of 'Egg and Spoon Race' with lots of jumping and clapping and cheering!
